One of the more anticipated footwear collaboration drops of 2024 finally has a release date; Louis Vuitton has officially announced a July 18th pre-launch for the long-awaited collection of boots that was first seen back in January during FW24 Fashion Week. The entire collection is available for pre-order HERE.
Created by Louis Vuitton menswear Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the Timberland collaboration made its first appearance on the catwalk during Fashion Week in Paris. It immediately took the fashion and footwear community by storm; while intended to be workwear boots, Timberland has become a part of the fashion culture due to its adoption by the hip-hop community in Northeast regions (New York City, specifically). Jay-Z and Biggie Smalls were known to perform in the boots, increasing its appeal in street fashion.
Timberland is hardly new to the collaboration front, often working with mainstay brands such as Supreme, Stussy, and Off-White to name a few. They’ve also partnered with retailers that are high movers of Timberland product while also working with key individuals such as Nas, 21 Savage, and more.
The debut collection from the Timberland x Louis Vuitton partnership includes four variations of the iconic 6″ Ankle Boot in the “Wheat” and “Black” varieties. The LV monogram pattern is seen etched into the upper suede or upholstered on the padded ankle in two distinct styles. Rounding out the collection is the high Mid Boot and the toe-capped Ranger Boot.
Official Pricing In USD
As expected, the MSRP for the Louis Vuitton Timberland boots are well above the standard retail price for a pair of 6″ Boots, which is currently $198. The 6″ Boots with the monogram LV on the suede upper is priced at $2,850, while the pair with the pattern on the ankle is slightly cheaper at $2,450. The Mid Boot and Ranger Boot are priced at $2,990.
Again, Louis Vuitton has announced a July 18th pre-launch date; you can register here. A worldwide drop for the collection is currently expected on August 8th.
