The Nike Dunk Low continues to surface in new playful colorways for kids, offering sneakerhead parents a wide range of options their little ones will love. Continuing to incorporate bright colors and unique materials, this latest pair features an aesthetic similar to the Nike KD 4 Nerf, comprising yet another playground flex.
Starting from the bottom, the outsole works in “Volt” and “Total Orange” hits over an “Astronomy Blue” backdrop, reflecting abstract splotches of paint. A similar ethos is brought to the upper, as the shoe’s blue leather base features paint-splattered detailing for a continuous design theme. Staying within the top half, the Swoosh adopts a slightly inflated, rounded shape and comes with a tactile grid pattern, perhaps as a nod to common playground surfaces. Capping off the highlights, the insoles and heel branding are made out of cork, the latter of which is decorated by blue, hand-drawn Nike typography and more sporadic splotches of color. Otherwise, “Photon Dust” overlays and a matching tongue represent simplistic additions to the outside-the-box design.
The Nike Dunk Low GS “Photon Dust/Astronomy Blue/Volt/Total Orange” is available now via Nike for $85. Reference our “Where To Buy” section below if you think these could suit your kid’s taste.
