Matt Varga Even amid reports earlier this year that signalled a slowdown in production of staple models like the Nike Dunk Low and Air Force 1, from our vintage we haven’t seen that tide stemmed whatsoever. The two spotlighted models continue to hit our site in a stream of new seasonal styles, great news for fans of either silhouette. As we enter the heat of the consumer Fall slate, the AF1 is serving up a look perfect for the season in “Jade Horizon.”
The titular tone is the main attraction on the upper, split between leather underlays and suede overlays. While a gum bottom is far from a rare sight on the Air Force 1, it’s applied perfectly here, creating a complementary air between top and bottom. Pure white on the Swoosh and tongue tag creates some depth in the design and closes out a design that’s equally eye-catching and easily worn.
