Though plenty controversial among the more devout ‘heads, there’s still plenty of appeal with the Air Jordan 1 Mid to the everyday consumer, offering an opportunity to get on the timeless AJ1 wave without breaking the bank. As retailers begin switching their offerings over to autumn, the mid-cut sibling appears in a tasteful mix of natural tones.
This shoe sticks to a rather conservative script in terms of color-blocking, opting for the over/under layout with “Sequoia” olive up top and jet black beneath it. A pure white midsole, Swoosh and wings logo add some pop, starkly diverging from the darker hues that dominate the rest of the shoe. Along with looks we’re beginning to see for the Air Force 1, Dunk Low or Zoom Vomero 5, this pair presents some seasonal style for those looking to get ahead on Fall looks; but it’s hard to argue that its complementary style wouldn’t be a match for any season.
