The Nike KD 17 Refocuses With Classic Black And Red

Arriving at Nike hoops retailers in August.

The Nike KD 17 Refocuses With Classic Black And Red

After dropping some tracks with legendary producers The Alchemist, Bink!, and Metro Boomin’, Kevin Durant and Nike are refocusing the KD 17 silhouette with some time-honored colorways that seem to fit every basketball shoe on the market, regardless of brand.

This upcoming black/red/grey shade opts in at the right time when Fall hooping is set to begin. A patterned mesh sits at the base, while the exterior cage inspired by the Air Max Plus sizzles in a red-to-back gradient. A dark grey floods in the midsole and the interior lining, bouncing back to black on the outsole and tongue. The branding is strong as the logo pops out with ease on the medial and lateral via the white coloring.

With other Nike KD 17 colorways being tied to Durant’s past, whether it be his tenure in Oklahoma City or his admiration of Penny Hardaway, it’s possible that this composition is associated with a figment of KD’s life. While we await further details, check out the official images ahead and find this latest Nike KD 17 at Nike Basketball retailers beginning on August 1st, 2024 for $150.
