Nike claims to be reducing stock of oversaturated models like the Air Jordan 1 in the near future, but it’s unlikely that the move will effect golf versions any. Mike’s first signature has been re-tooled for golf as a high and low-top to much acclaim from those who champion the sport, and while maybe a bit more rare, heel-less mule versions have also continued to surface sporadically.
Established Jordan Brand colorways have accounted for most Jordan 1 Golf mule looks thus far, and that continues with this “Royal” pair for Fall 2024. The shoe does its best impression of the original 1985 colorway with a similar blocking scheme, although the absence of laces and heel paneling doesn’t allow for direct 1-to-1 coordination. Additionally, as is standard for the model, we see a leather tongue tag with Jumpman branding and a more rugged outsole, taking the shoes from the hardwood to the greens.
