Original article posted July 22nd, 2024: In the past few weeks, we’ve seen a renewed push behind the Nike Air Max 95, now best interpreted as an appetizer to the model’s full moment this Holiday and next year (projects like the A Ma Maniere Air Max 95 ringing in the 30th anniversary.) As the Air Max line is so often to do, the latest drop for the 95 takes on militaristic tones, spotlighting a blend of “Sequoia” olive shades.

Atop an all-black midsole, the iconic waves appear in a gradient as they so often do. Working through trademark tones of “Sequoia,” “Cargo,” “Khaki” and “Medium Olive,” this shoe’s design lightens as it reaches the top, culminating in pure white contrast embroidery towards the heel. Last year’s Corteiz Air Max 95 (rumored to receive a sequel later this year) is a pretty easy comparison point, capitalizing on the same natural tones as the shoe featured here. Whether you classify this as a more palatable version of that coveted style or simply as some easily worn 95s, this is an appealing pair all the same.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Sequoia” is set to land in the coming weeks. Expect a $185 price tag upon arrival- in the meantime, check out JD Sports retail images just below.
