After months of anticipation, the Air Jordan 39 is finally here. Just before the “Sol” colorway debuted the new Michael Jordan signature on July 23rd, Jordan Brand unveiled all AJ39 releases through Summer 2025, giving interested buyers ample time to decide which colorway(s) they want to pick up. Next in line is a black-dominant colorway dubbed the “Lumiere” edition, named in honor of Parisian lights and the city’s night skyline.
The Jordan 39 is every bit as premium as its $200 retail price implies, and there’s nothing like a stealthy black-dominant colorway to let that nature shine through. Buttery suede panels wrap a synthetic, elephant print base, contrasted only by “Sail” on the Jumpman logo and internal portion of the midsole. From a performance standpoint, the two most significant features to note are full-length Zoom Air cushioning and ZoomX foam, the latter of which isn’t utilized on any other Jordan Brand shoe.
The Air Jordan 39 “Lumiere” is expected to release August 6th, 2024 through Nike channels, but some retailers currently have the shoes scheduled for a slightly earlier drop on July 27th. In any case, know that our “Where To Buy” section will be kept current with all available purchase channels.
