Updated August 12th, 2024: The Salehe Bembury Crocs Juniper “Tahini” releases on September 5th, likely releasing via Bembury’s beaspunge.com site and Crocs channels shortly after. It’ll mark just the second release for the silhouette, following up the Juniper’s market debut in May that sold out instantly and still command premium grey market prices some three months later. We’ll keep you posted with more concrete release info as it emerges, but for now, check out official campaign shots right below and our original coverage just ahead of that.

Original article posted July 25th, 2024: Step into Salehe Bembury’s comment sections any time over the past year and you’ll see one word over & over again: Juniper, Juniper, Juniper. While the silhouette did officially debut at the end of May, one drop wasn’t nearly enough to quell that sky-high demand. Though it’s not the release information that those fans are hoping for, Bembury took to Instagram to share a third colorway of the Crocs Juniper.

To recap, “Guava” introduced the model to market, and early images of the “Tree Camo” Juniper emerged shortly after. Given the eccentric combination of pink & green on the former and the loud print of the latter, this “Tahini” style is easily the most toned-down that we’ve seen so far. The full upper is clad in white, from the breathable TPU heel to the foxing panel that extends the exaggerated Pollex sole pattern. A holdover from the “Tree Camo” pair,  the underfoot unit is painted in earthy translucent gum-  even in this more refined palette, Bembury’s unwavering passion for the outdoors lives on.

Speaking of, Bembury did also announce a limited giveaway for this colorway. He challenged his followers to clean up something in their environment (a park, street, stream, etc.), share before & and after photos on their story and tag him, pledging he’d send a pair to a few lucky participants afterwards.

Barring that, no wide release information was posted alongside this first look. Whenever this shoe is slated for though, it sets up a busy calendar for the NYC designer; on top of the two unreleased Junipers, we’re also awaiting the Salehe Bembury New Balance 530. For now, we’re left to glean what we can from this solitary shot, but keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates hub for the latest updates on any of his upcoming work.
