A few of the highlights had their official images drop in the past 24 hours, starting with pairs like the Air Jordan 4 “White Thunder” and Jordan 5 “Reverse Metallic,” now marching on with the Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey.”
The dark anchorings of the lace-stay elephant print and sockliner, combined with the prominent red Jumpman on the tongue have already elicited some comparisons to 2014’s Infrared 23. Even if that’s not where your head goes first, this release serves up a smattering of familiar touches, building upon the off-white tonality the WC3 Reimagined made famous and a conservative, neutral palette overall. For the true collectors, you’ll want to note the special edition packaging on tap, matching the colorway with the 70/30 split box that last arrived with “Green Glow” earlier this year.
Speaking of that previous 2024 edition, the Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” continues a torrid pace the silhouette has maintained throughout this year; the Air Jordan 3 “Wings” on July 30th and A Ma Maniere Jordan 3 just a week and change before this one might force some tough financial decisions as we spring towards the Jordan 3 “Black Cement” this Holiday.
The Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” is set for an August 31st release date. Full family sizing is confirmed; adults pairs will retail for $200 with smaller sizes expected to follow the traditional price walk-down (GS $150, preschool $90, toddler $75.)
