The Kid’s Nike Dunk Low Borders An “Olympic” Colorway

Slap some red laces on these for a patriotic "USA" look.

The Kid’s Nike Dunk Low Borders An “Olympic” Colorway

As if a whopping 55-pair “Electric Pack” and Olympics-themed lifestyle series isn’t enough to capitalize on attention surrounding the Paris Games, Nike keeps steadily surfacing new pairs with vague yet present ties to the event. While not part of a broader collection (as of now), this latest Dunk Low lends a familiar “USA” feel; available now in little kids sizes here ($70).

The absence of red accents is perhaps the only thing standing in the way of a true “Olympic” colorway, with “Midnight Navy” overlays complemented by a white leather mix for a fractionally patriotic mix up top. Meanwhile, the Swoosh, tongue tag, and backtab branding assume the role of gold medal hardware in “Wheat.”

Given the unapologetically unique nature of other new kid’s colorways like the Black Spider-Man Dunks and Playground Dunks, this pair strikes as fairly reserved. Even still, with back to school shopping starting to pick up, it’s a solid option for parents looking for versatile kid’s footwear.

As mentioned, the Nike Dunk Low “White/Midnight Navy/Wheat” is available now in little kids sizes here, with grade school pairs (pictured below) releasing in the near future.
