The Air Jordan 9 Golf Gets A “UNC” Colorway

Releasing August 12th for $230.

The Air Jordan 9 Golf Gets A “UNC” Colorway

Michael Jordan’s passion for golf has spawned an array of Jordan Brand golf shoes in recent years, part of a larger effort on Nike’s behalf to bring unique and fashion-forward footwear to the niche. This latest take on the Jordan 9 Golf harkens back to Mike’s college days at Chapel Hill, where he was introduced to the sport by a friend on UNC’s golf team.

Differing from other UNC-adjacent colorways like the AJ9 “Dark Powder Blue” and “Pearl Blue,” the golf version take a dual-tone approach with hallmark “University Blue” on the midsole, lining, and various branded elements. Otherwise, the rest of the upper fulfills a tried-and-true color combo in white. The top portion comes crafted out of leather, while the 360 degree mudguard and backtab opt for suede in a classy choice (although grass stains might disagree). In addition to the low-top height, circular traction spokes on the outsole render the shoes suitable for the greens.

The Air Jordan 9 Golf “UNC” drops August 12th for $230, giving interested buyers ample time to rock ’em while golf weather is still at its best. Enjoy official images below and turn to our “Where To Buy” section further down the page for purchase links once the shoes become available.
