The Nike Air More Uptempo’s Slide Transformation Is Ready For Fall

The Nike Air More Uptempo’s Slide Transformation Is Ready For Fall

The ever-changing Air More Uptempo (did you see the low-top model debuting later this year?) is back in its slip-on, open-toed Slide format for Fall. The updated silhouette already made its way to stores in iconic original colorways like the Black/White and even the recent Olympic pair modeled after the 1996 version, but it’s now here in a season-friendly colorway in preparation of the changing climates.

Arriving later this Fall season is the latest in the iconic “Wheat” aka “Flax” collection of Nike Sportswear classics. The monochromatic yellowed-brown is most recognizable on Air Force 1s, but it has since expanded to a plethora of models including the parent Uptempo model itself. But how does it work on a slip-on?

In regards to the colorway, there’s not much to describe — it’s got that signature Flax hue from toe to heel, top to bottom. It’s simply a matter of color preference, and history tells as that there’s quite a fanbase behind this late-Autumn shade.

Nike.com will have these ready soon for $85; see the store list and image gallery just below and we’ll keep you updated on availability on our X page.
