The UV-Coated Nike Air Force 1 “Sunny Sports Club” Changes Color In Sunlight

Perfect for back to school.

The UV-Coated Nike Air Force 1 “Sunny Sports Club” Changes Color In Sunlight

Schools across the country will welcome a new wave of students very soon, and with back to school shopping season in high gear, Nike continues to surface new statement-making sneakers for kids. Now joining a glow-in-the-dark Jordan 1 Low and black Spider-Man Dunks on the Beaverton brand’s Fall 2024 slate is an Air Force 1 GS that changes color in sunlight, a bonafide playground flex.

The Swoosh and eyelet strips are the two main elements that change color, the former turning blue and the latter turning yellow in sunlight. While the UV treatments carry the overarching vibe, the rest of the design boasts plenty of intrigue to match. The tongue features blue rubber branding that reads “Sunny Sports Club” alongside a trophy graphic and floral crest, while the lateral heel introduces an illustration of a smiling sun. The lining and backtab produce a somewhat aquatic vibe in “Thunder Blue” and pine green, respectively, and a “Sail” midsole and navy tread introduce a vintage feel underfoot. Additionally, the shoes come with a hangtag that reads “kicks reveal true colors when exposed to uv” and a metallic packaging pouch.

The Air Force 1 GS “Sunny Sports Club” ($110) is available now from select retailers like Sneaker Politics, with pairs likely arriving to nike.com in the near future. Enjoy official images below and turn to our “Where To Buy” section further down the page for purchase links.
