Although Jordan Brand has expanded its collegiate portfolio with several top-flight programs in the nation, the UNC Tar Heels were, at one point, were the sole recipients of Air Jordan Player Exclusives. That preferential treatment in shoe form has spread across to schools like Michigan, Oklahoma, and others, but let’s keep it real — there is no college PE quite like the ones in Chapel Hill.

Revealed earlier in July, and now taking action on the field, this Air Jordan 3 Cleats made just for the Tar Heels features that signature University Blue shade, with appropriate UNC markings. The NC logo is embroidered proudly on the left tongue, with the Jumpman insignia on the opposite left side. Finally, the timeless Nike Air branding appears on the white leather upper, which is contrasted by the iconic grey-on-black elephant pattern.
