Original article published August 12th, 2024: Everyone knows a guy that shows up to brunch dressed like they’re ready for a full day of duck hunting. This Nike Air Force 1 is for them.

One of several upcoming fall-appropriate deliveries, the AF1 Premium “Oil Green” brings hunter-esque colors to a full patent leather upper, balancing between a rugged, outdoor aesthetic and an early 2000s streetwear vibe. Most of the upper and midsole take the titular hue, while the Swoosh, backtab, and outsole provide visibility in “Safety Orange.”

For many, patent leather Air Force 1s evoke memories from when Nike released a storm of Bape-y colorways near the turn of the century, essentially taking inspiration from a brand that it later went on to sue. The colors on display here don’t necessarily fit in with the flashy neons that defined that era of AF1 drops, but offer a perfect complement to all those who champion the hunter/military surplus look.

Currently, the Air Force 1 “Oil Green/Safety Orange/Platinum Tint” is expected to release Fall 2024 for $135. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming pairs.

If you’d prefer a different autumn-friendly colorway, check out the Air Force 1 “Light Iron Ore” featuring Cordura fabric.
