Beaverton’s strongest soldier in the dad shoe wave, the retro style has been rolled out in nearly every palette imaginable as demand remains sky high for the 2005 silhouette. The latest look cooks up a conservative blend of greyscale notes in “Pure Platinum.”
“Summit White” comprehensively takes over the upper, allowing the geometric aspects of the Vomero 5 to stand out all the more, from hexagonal mesh underpinnings to the triangular heel cage and the slitted TPU at the quarter. Steely grey outlines the reflective Swoosh and paints the throat of the shoe at the sockliner and tongue. Finally, a dose of earthy tonality inserts via the sole unit, utilizing vintage off-white that’s so rampant in the Vomero 5 catalog and still in the footwear industry at large.
