Confusion stemmed from Size? being the first one to showcase this updated look with a cream & mauve pair that’s actually exclusive to their shelves.
Nonetheless, the Air Max Dn “Canyon Rust” arrives on September 3rd via SNKRS and partnering retailers, commanding a $180 retailer price.

Original article posted August 20th, 2024: Those tapped into our coverage in the past few months will know that the Size Air Max Dn collaboration, teased back in July, instantly vaulted into the conversation for best Air Max Dn ever. Though it hasn’t been a long history to this point, the “Feel the Unreal” silhouette no doubt benefited greatly from the comprehensive overhaul the UK shop showcased. An additional colorway is sliding into this collaborative capsule now in “Canyon Rust.”
Many of the swaps from that previewed pair stick around for this rosy colorway, bringing what was expected to be a collab model into the regular Nike catalog. The mudguard goes from graphic to leather, the woven half of the upper gets a plush overhaul with scattered stippled stitching, and the four Air Chambers underfoot appear in matte paint rather than their typical metallic. Two new pull tabs on the tongue and heel round out the new hardware changes, while a split arrangement between titular burgundy “Canyon Rust” up top and soft pink on the lower half complete the aesthetic spin.
Taken as a whole, it’s a new vintage atmosphere the Air Max Dn, a stark departure from the next century, tech-focused marketing that introduced the silhouette to the public in March. Whether those creative risks will pay off is pending until this pair’s release, but at least in our corner, this is one of the more impressive looks for the Dn we’ve seen all year.
