WHERE TO BUY
Nike Clogposite
Is there space for the Nike Clogposite in today’s sneaker market? The ambitious Foamposite clog was a straight-to-outlet special when it debuted in the early 2000s and didn’t fare much better when Nike brought it back with the name “Solo Slide” in the 2010s, but given consumer’s newfound appreciation for comfortable, uniquely crafted slip-ons, the Clogposite has never seen such fertile ground for growth.
Nike announced the return of the Clogposite during a SNKRS Showcase late last year, and a handful of colorways have since released throughout Summer 2024. With “Chrome” and “Light Orewood Brown” pairs set to arrive via Nike channels this week, we’re now getting a look at another fresh option. The Beaverton brand brings black and “Sanddrift” to this latest look, the latter color accounting for the outer Foamposite shell. To the uninitiated; the Clogposite is essentially a Nike Flightposite with the top chopped off, complete with an elastic forefoot in place of shrouded laces. The sole, including a carbon fiber midfoot plate, remains largely untouched.
The Nike Clogposite “Sanddrift/Black” will release through SNKRS and select retailers during the Fall 2024 shopping season for $140. See official images below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page handy while we keep our ears up for a firm date.
Staying within the Foamposite family, the Nike Flightposite “Metallic Gold” from 1999 returns later this year.
