The Nike Air Max 90 Drift Works In “Bright Crimson” Accents

Hunting colors touch up the techwear-worthy Air Max offshoot.

The Nike Air Max 90 Drift Works In “Bright Crimson” Accents

Nike’s mainstay Air Max shoes are timeless as is, but in an effort to reach younger consumers with a penchant for flair, the Beaverton brand has debuted a series of offshoots and “upgraded” models in recent months. The Air Max Plus and Air Max 90 have been subject to new versions dubbed “Drift” in 2024, both of which see drastic TPU-heavy overhauls. With autumn on the horizon and utilitarian-inspired footwear entering its prime season, Nike brings seasonal shades to the latter Air Max re-imagination.

Most of the upper comes painted in black and “Dark Smoke Grey,” with the TPU mudguard, quarter panel, tongue, and ripstop base sporting the two dark shades. The midsole wedge, Swoosh, eyestays, and heel patch lend an autumnal feel in “Khaki,” while the collar portion opts for earthy brown fabric. Adding some energy to a low-brightness palette up top, “Bright Crimson” touches up the elongated tongue and heel pull tabs as well as the Air unit underfoot. Otherwise, a white midsole and black outsole complete the design.

The Nike Air Max 90 Drift “Dark Smoke Grey/Black/Hyper Crimson/Khaki” is expected to arrive during the Fall 2024 shopping season for $160, a lofty $30 markup from the standard parent model. Let the official image gallery below guide your purchase decision.
