The Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Team Red” Borders Original Color Blocking

The Nike Air Max 1 Golf has embraced a few “out there” colorways since its inception, but pairs that border traditional color blocking are far and away the most popular and abundant. While this latest pair doesn’t directly adhere to the “Sport Red” scheme, it strikes the same feel through a balanced mix of white, grey, and autumn-appropriate “Team Red.”

The upper abides by the model’s standard material composition with a “Cool Grey” suede quarter panel/backtab and “Team Red” mudguard, complete with white mesh on the base layer. A white leather Swoosh is matched by stitched “Nike Air” heel branding, while outsole makes use of black, white, and titular treatments in familiar fashion.

The Air Max 1 Golf isn’t a traditional golf shoe by any means, but this colorway strikes as a more conservative, sophisticated pair than what we’re used to, walking a fine line between country club classy and sporty aesthetics.
