With Jordan Brand having debuted the Spiz’ike Low earlier this year, sneakerheads may have assumed that the original mid-top cut would stay archived for the foreseeable future. But just as we saw last year, it appears the Jumpman is touching down with a grade school Spiz’ike Winterized for Fall 2024.
Jordan Brand’s Winterized series, which produces cold-weather takes on classic models, has proven popular on the Spiz’ike. The standard model is hefty as is, but the Winterized version incorporates weather-permitting features like no-stitch leather mudguards and rugged tread suitable for snow and sleet. Two grade school Spiz’ike Winterized colorways dropped in late 2023, but the model hasn’t cropped up in adult sizes at any point in recent memory.
Taking a page from the Nike ACG playbook, the upcoming GS release mixes contemporary and bright shades for a clear retro feel. A “Coconut Milk” base sets the table, while “Active Pink” paints the mudguard and elephant print panels. Differing slightly from the pink hue, the lining and upper eyestay both appear in red. The leather eyelet panel and TPU wing fulfill a cotton candy mix in “Aquamarine,” while an “Oxidized Green” sole rounds out the design underfoot.
The Spiz’ike Winterized GS is projected to hit shelves during the Fall 2024 shopping season for $150, potentially as a one-off delivery. See official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates page for more.
