Can the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ride its hot streak into autumn? Wearing a mesh runner in cold conditions is daring for most, but if recent developments are any indication, Nike’s hoping the end of summer doesn’t signal the end of Vomero 5 hype. On top of an ambitious new hiking version dubbed the Vomero 5 Roam, the Beaverton brand has curated a lineup of dark, earthy Vomero 5 colorways for Fall 2024, appealing directly to seasonal fashion sensibilities.
This latest women’s pair comes with a “Vintage Green” upper and a variety of soft, tonal touches. The midsole mixes “Light Orewood Brown” with “Hemp” for a slight vintage feel, while a leather tongue tag incorporates the former shade in a classy addition. A “Chrome” Swoosh adds some welcome Y2K flair up top, while the lining and outsole work to frame the rest of the shoe in black. Notably, there’s an upcoming “Baroque Brown” colorway that features the exact same arrangement but different titular hue.
