The Stefon Diggs x ASICS GEL Nimbus 10.1 Is Dropping Exclusively At Kith

In just over a weeks’ time, we’ll have to get accustomed to seeing Stefon Diggs in a new uniform, making miraculous catch and flashy moves in Texans colors for his inaugural Houston season. However, he hasn’t waited for kickoff to make some splashy moves. In the off-season, he and ASICS’ first collaboration came to light at Paris Fashion Week, a team-up on the ASICS GEL Nimbus 10.1. Though initially expected to be a friends & family pair, that shoe will in fact be making its way to the public. An ultra-limited launch at KITH Manhattan was just announced with entries now open.

In case you missed out on our original coverage, the sneaker in question doubled as our first look at the GEL Nimbus 10.1 model, combining the upper of 2008’s GEL.Nimbus 10 with the sole unit from the ever-trendy GEL-Kayano 14. Diggs’ vision is executed on the shoe with a slew of special edition touches. He widens the underlying mesh, adds curved grid patterns that run across the full profile, and pitches in literal friendship bracelets that click onto the collar to double as a pull tab. “Friends” type on the tongue match that atmosphere, and a “1/250” emblem at the heel reinforces just how special each of these pairs are.

To that end, Diggs and ASICS are parlaying this footwear release into true community outreach, with 100% of the proceeds gleaned from this release going to the less fortunate, chiefly in NYC but also throughout the US and internationally. The Stefon Diggs x ASICS GEL Nimbus 10.1 retails for $180, and will exclusively be available through a KITH raffle, with pick-ups limited to their Manhattan location. Get your entries in now via the KITH app.
