Update: Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Chicago” Not Releasing In 2025

Jordan Brand is really poised for a comeback.

Update: Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Chicago” Not Releasing In 2025

UPDATE: The upcoming 2025 release of the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 will NOT be the “Chicago” colorway. Instead, expected a new arrangement of White/Varsity Red/Black.

Your must-have list of 2025 Jordans just got longer, and it might even be the best release of next year based on this latest rumor: Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Chicago” is releasing next Fall as part of the brand’s year-long 40th Anniversary celebration.

The timeless white/red/black colorway, last made famous by the Air Jordan 1 “Lost And Found” in late 2022, will be making an appearance once more in the true-to-the-original build known as the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85. According to @eldenmonitors, the shoes will be available in both adult and grade school sizes, with the former retailing for $250. Official color specs are White/Varsity Red/Black.

Arguably neck-and-neck with the “Chicago” in terms of its significance is the “Bred” colorway, itself releasing in February 2025 in Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 form. Although Jordan Brand has yet to confirm either release, it’s safe to say that these two releases are 1a and 1b in terms of importance.

With so many can’t miss Jordans dropping next year, many sneakerheads view 2025 as an unofficial “comeback” year for the Jumpman due to ongoing slowing sales of its once prized items. Review all of the 2025 Jordan Release Dates to stay ahead of the game.

The shoes pictured are an original 1985 pair. The naturally aged appearance of the shoes does not reflect what will be releasing next year.
