Pre-aged treatments appear on the midsole.

The New Balance 1500 Works In “Cilantro” Accents

The New Balance 991v2 has been the most frequent export of the Boston brand’s Flimby, UK factory in recent months, but nothing’s shaking the steady release of fresh New Balance 1500 colorways. The “Made In England” shoe is one of the most distinct to ever hit New Balance production lines and boasts a small yet dedicated body of cult followers. If you count yourself among them, you might find a winner in this new white and green pair.

Official retailer images showcase “Antique White” leather panels and a cream midsole, both of which serve to produce a clear “dad shoe” vibe. Green “Cilantro” leather accents the forefoot and toe, while the tongue and collar fulfill a balanced mix in light grey. This isn’t necessarily a shoe that will turn heads, but an agreeable essential that lives up to its hefty price tag through premium-on-premium materials.

The New Balance 1500 “Antique White/Cilantro” will release via New Balance and retailers on September 5th for around $240. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming New Balance sneakers.
