Sneaker News Your favorite adidas shoes aren’t just for walking about town or completing your OOTD for a Friday night out. This Fall/Winter season, adidas will debut the Home series of footwear comprised of your favorite Originals icons transformed into cozy slip-on shoes made for indoors.
The Samba, Gazelle, and Superstar go through a comfort-driven transformation as the shoes are enlarged and padded for a level of leisure fit for your abode Above the nylon uppers is a thick sole with subtle traction on the bottoms, similar to those Isotoners your parents used to wear around the house.
Unlike the Puffylette model, which saw a down-filled upper with an exterior design generated by specific models, the Home series is a proper re-creation of each model; the Samba and Gazelle feature the signature T-toe, while the Superstar’s shelltoe appears via stitching.
The three models in the adidas Home series will be available soon; some have begun to surface in Asia, so it’ll be a matter of time before they hit the states.
