Andrew Rizzo First introduced to consumers back in spring, the Nike SB Vertebrae continues to surface in new styles. We saw the release of a blue and orange “Knicks” colorway earlier this year, and now completing an unofficial rivalry pack of sorts, we’re getting a clear “Celtics” vibe from this latest pair arriving Fall 2024.
The nickname pretty much sums up the design; the base of the shoe is comprised of black suede and synthetics, while Boston’s hallmark green shade dots the lining, eyelets, backtab, and Swoosh logos. Otherwise, a white outsole polishes off the look. To the uninitiated, the Vertebrae’s key technical spec is its rubber cupsole, which typically provided more foot protection than your standard vulcanized sole.
