The Powerpuff Girls Get Their Own Crocs Classic Clog

At this point, it might be easier to list off franchises that don’t have a Crocs collaboration than the ones that do. In just the past month, we’ve seen Friday the 13th, Pokemon and Hello Kitty earn their own Classic Clog, and the tide of pop culture link-ups isn’t slowing down anytime. A 2000s favorite is next up, with the Powerpuff Girls franchise descending on a Classic Clog style on September 9th.

While the Cartoon Network characters certainly have enough cultural purchase to carry three separate pairs, Bubbles, Blossom & Buttercup instead unite on just one. A silver upper sets a heroic tone to begin, but the true intrigue comes with the split midsole, showcasing each superheroine’s trademark tonality as it works through layers of light blue, pink & deep green.

In typical Crocs fashion, the shoes themselves aren’t the only thing you’ll be unboxing upon arrival. Each pair arrives with the complementary set of Jibbetz charms, depicting each of the three sisters and a host of associated iconography from stars to jewels. As a closing touch, Bubbles, Blossom & Buttercup are stamped mid-flight on the insole of either shoe.

The Powerpuff Girls have already famously made a major stamp in footwear in recent memory. The Powerpuff Girls Dunk collection was one of the biggest Nike SB successes of 2023, and while this Crocs collab seems unlikely to capture collectors’ attention in that same way, it does signal the rising influence of animated characters in the industry.

The Powerpuff Girls Crocs collection releases on September 9th. Adult sizing retails at $70 while kids carry a $55 retail price. Enjoy a gallery of product shots included just ahead.
