The Nike Air Max 90 GORE-TEX Returns In Perfect Fall Colors

Tinker Hatfield's classic hunkers down for harsh conditions.

The Nike Air Max 90 GORE-TEX Returns In Perfect Fall Colors

Nike outfits its foremost lifestyle silos in GORE-TEX fabric every year, making what are often thought of as spring and summer shoes into viable options for harsher conditions. We’ve spilled ink on the Air Force 1 GORE-TEX in recent weeks, and now Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90 surfaces in its first GORE-TEX-equipped look of the season thus far.

The tongue, toe box, and collar portion all feature GORE-TEX fabric, while the rest of the upper holds its own in standard leather. The Beaverton brand brings a balanced, season-appropriate “Cacao Wow” and “Khaki” to this pair, balanced out by a black mudguard and “Light Orewood Brown” base. Adding just a touch of brightness while staying within autumnal colors, the Swoosh and tongue stitching both appear in yellow.

Given the model’s material upgrades, the Air Max 90 GORE-TEX commands a $160 MSRP, a notable yet justifiable markup from the standard version’s $130 mark. Let the official image gallery below guide your purchase decision and look for these to hit shelves sometime during the Fall 2024 shopping season.
