In wake of the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef, the Toronto rapper has been busy dropping new music, behind the scenes studio footage, album art, and for our purposes, new NOCTA shoes with Nike. With the Hot Step 2 “Eggpant” and “Opti Yellow” having released this summer, the model now sports an all-black uniform as the calendar shifts to autumn.

Continuing to rely entirely on monotone designs, the latest NOCTA Hot Step 2 comes painted in black from heel to toe for a versatile, stealthy vibe. While maybe unintentional, two of the model’s defining features replicate somewhat of a “Taxi” aesthetic. Yellow traction pads and a black and white checkerboard mudguard window are both mainstay features on the Hot Step 2, but give off a clear “Taxi” feel when married with the black color.

There’s speculation that the Hot Step 2 “Black” will release through NOCTA channels on September 20th, but in any case, Nike SNKRS has these down for September 28th. See detailed images of the shoes below and stay tuned for more images over the coming weeks.
