While certain silhouettes may have gotten splashier moments in 2024, the Nike Air Max Plus has experienced some of the most serious tailwinds in Beaverton. Countless GR colorways and the Air Max Plus Drift off-shoot have propelled the Tn in the wake of its 25th anniversary. Inline with that from a thematic standpoint, the “Burgundy Crush” pair on tap for Holiday ’24 tacitly calls back to how well the silhouette has aged, relying on wine coloring for its design.

The rosy overhaul is rather comprehensive on this pair, pasting several adjacent red hues from heel to toe. The most real estate is taken up by a dark-to-light ombre on the mesh foundation, but a deep red patent leather toe and foxing around the profile enhances those choices. A bit of contrast comes with the brown tint of the lace unit and sockliner, breaking up a dominant palette of “Burgundy Crush” & “Aster Pink.”
