The partners' first ever link-up is expected soon.

L’Art De L’Automoblie Teases Potential Nike Collaboration Photos

Arthur Kar’s L’Art De L’Automobile imprint is no stranger to sneakers. Earlier this year we caught wind of the L’Art De L’Automobile Salomon collaboration that referenced an iconic Le Mans winning vehicle, but that’s far from the end of their footwear catalog. An additional 2022 capsule with Salomon, a few Vans collabs and a just-adjacent NOCTA racing link-up comprise the imprint’s work in our wheelhouse, but the latest announcement is the biggest one yet: a Nike collab on the horizon.

Via L’Art De L’Automobile‘s socials, we got some initial teaser shots of a co-branded insole, itself bearing a depiction of Kar’s collaboration with Porsche on their 968 derivative back in 2021. A Nike Air emblem towards the heel swaps the Air text for L’Art, mirrored on a special edition box that sports technical drawings, presumably of that same Porsche model.

While it’s clear that car is a guiding light in this upcoming collaboration, the model and how exactly it’ll be applied is very much unclear. While Kar and Nike obviously have a recent collaboration, usually indicative as a reference point, the absence of any NOCTA branding here means it’s a true “wait and see.”

Whichever model is in the spotlight here, L’Art De L’Automobile’s penchant for the premium is sure to command a ton of hype for this Nike capsule upon arrival. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for further updates as this story develops.
