LaMelo Ball Goes Trick Or Treating With The PUMA MB.03 “Halloween”

#1's signature is uniquely suited for the occasion.

LaMelo Ball Goes Trick Or Treating With The PUMA MB.03 “Halloween”

We’ve said it before, but LaMelo Ball shoes have an entirely unique release strategy. Though the Hornets phenom just minted his newest PUMA MB.04, you’ll still be seeing his MB.03 and MB.01 on the shelves as PUMA adopts a concurrent retro program, announced earlier this year. As Fall holidays grow closer, one of his past silos is the choice for All Hallow’s Eve, with the PUMA MB.03 “Halloween” just emerging via official images.

In truth, the off-the-wall design language that naturally graces the PUMA MB.03 means it doesn’t have to do much to fit into the Halloween mold, but Puma creatives add a ton of seasonal detail as a bonus. The timeless black & orange combo does a lot of the heavy lifting in conveying the holiday spirit from the jump, particularly eye-catching with the marbled print that covers the full upper.

Jagged mesh cutouts at the quarter and toe-box express some explicit storytelling with graphic eyes right below the laces creating a jack-o’-lantern pattern. Finally, Melo’s traditional “1 of 1” and “RARE” mottos get a new neighbor for this colorway: “Trick Or Treat” text emblazoned on the ribbed heel cup.

Naturally, expect the PUMA MB.03 to land this October, expected to retail at $125. Catch detailed images included just ahead.
