Saucony Transforms The Grid Shadow 2 Runner For The Trails With Rip-Stop

Saucony has been hitting all the right notes when it comes to collaborations as of late, but don’t sleep on their in-house capsules. The New England brand has released several compelling three-packs throughout the course of 2024 thus far, all of which are either meant to tell a story or provide a purposeful material upgrade.

We covered news about a Grid Shadow 2 GORE-TEX pack earlier this year, and while we’re still waiting on that trio to arrive, Saucony holds us over with a different Grid Shadow 2 delivery of the outdoor-minded variety. As shown here via official images, the base of each shoe features ripstop as opposed to traditional mesh, channeling trail aesthetics while simultaneously enhancing the utility behind the model. Options include an “Avocado/Beige” pair with neon green detailing, a “Purple/Blue” colorway with gold accents, and “Maroon/Beige” pair with sparse cyan touches.

The Saucony Grid Shadow 2 is available now in “Avocado/Beige” and “Purple/Blue” via the Saucony website, with the “Maroon/Beige” colorway likely arriving in the near future. See detailed images of all three options below and turn to our “Where To Buy” sections for purchase links.

Steering to the collaborative sector, the latest Jae Tips x Saucony project releases broadly on September 20th.
