Is A Supreme x Air Jordan 17 Collaboration In The Works?

If so, will it cost more than $300?

Is A Supreme x Air Jordan 17 Collaboration In The Works?

This FW24 season, Supreme will debut its latest collaboration with Jordan Brand — an apparel exclusive capsule that includes puffer jackets, sweats, and other essentials required to power through the winter months. Although there are no confirmed sneaker releases known as of yet, it would be remiss to not feature a footwear model as part of this grand reunion; however, some rumors are beginning to swirl that might point to an absolute groundbreaking release.

According to @horhead_sales, Supreme is dropping a sneaker that “has been releasing in a briefcase”. This tweet is very indicative of none other than the Air Jordan 17 Low, a $300 Retro that came packaged in a hardshell case in it two releases thus far. It’s also worth noting that the original Air Jordan 17 releases from 2002 came in a briefcase, so this rumored collab could be either the Mid or Low.

While the source makes no mention of the model or even the brand, the briefcase is such a unique detail that there are no other possibilities that immediately come to mind. Despite by the suggestive tweet, there are no known confirmed Supreme x Air Jordan footwear releases in FW24.

The Supreme Jordan history doesn’t go back too far; the collaborative partnership was first announced in 2015 with the Air Jordan 5 as the centerpiece of its collection, then followed up in 2019 with another drop surrounding the Air Jordan 14.
