The Air Jordan 7 Returns With Kids-Exclusive “Cobalt Bliss”

2024 has been a scant year for the Air Jordan 7. The reasons for that are understandable; after a number of OG and otherwise significant colorways returned in 2023, a buffer period was well-warranted as efforts like the Air Jordan 4 35th anniversary instead took precedence. However, one leaked pair has been in the back of our head since January, a GS-exclusive “Cobalt Bliss” colorway. With a release date now just around the corner, retail images are finally giving us a tangible look at the shoes.

In the recent Jordan Brand canon, the Air Jordan 7 has frequently been tabbed for kids-exclusive releases, pairs like the “Barely Grape” and “Chlorine Blue” both elucidating that point in recent memory. It means there’s certainly a lot of precedent for this look, blending together a number of soft pastels that manage to deliver playful energy without going too left-of-field on Mike’s seventh signature.

Along those lines, suede overlays in neutral grey combine with off-white anchoring underfoot for a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a nice bit of contrast juxtaposed against the titular “Cobalt Bliss” that runs down the tongue and laces and the lilac color underneath. Perhaps it’s a bit more reigned in than your typical elementary-and-under fare, but rest assured, the eccentric blend of tones here makes these a perfect match all throughout the academic calendar.

The Air Jordan 7 “Cobalt Bliss” arrives on October 1st in full kids’ sizing (GS $150, PS $90, TD $75). Hit up our Jordan Release Dates page or the “Where To Buy” section below for direct pick-up links upon release. In the meantime, check out official retailer images included below.
