Eastside Golf’s Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 Is Dropping In October

After being made available through pre-orders earlier this month, the Eastside Golf Nike Air Max 1 will release broadly via SNKRS in October.

The sport of golf has changed rapidly since the pandemic, with a record number of new golfers hitting the greens for the very first time in recent years. Now that the golf community is as diverse as it’s ever been, we’ve seen an uptick in new brands that aim to embrace individuality through non-traditional apparel, accessories, and for our purposes; footwear.

Following several projects with Jordan Brand, the Eastside Golf Air Max 1 is the Atlanta imprint’s first project under the Nike Golf umbrella. Crafted with self expression in mind, the shoe comes with six different detachable Swoosh logos that can be fastened onto metallic gold rivets. Other notable touches include Eastside Golf tongue branding, gold text reading the motto “Everyone’s Game” on the medial quarter, and a multi-colored graphic of a golfer on the outsole. A white leather upper lets those details shine through clear as day, while the overarching shape of the shoe takes after the 1986 cut, complete of course with grippy no-spike tread underfoot.

As mentioned, the Eastside Golf Air Max 1 will release via Nike SNKRS in October for $180. Scroll through official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming Nike deliveries.
