The Salehe Bembury Crocs Juniper “Taro” Releases On November 14th

Updated November 11th, 2024: Salehe Bembury took to Instagram to officially unveil the Crocs Juniper “Taro,” set to release on November 14th via the designer’s beaspunge.com site. Though a retail price wasn’t specifically named, expect the shoes to command a $140 sticker price.

Original article published September 25th, 2024: Salehe Bembury is one of the busiest men in the sneaker game right now. Despite taking on an important role at PUMA Basketball, the NYC designer will continue releasing new projects with New Balance and Crocs. In typical Salehe fashion, he just teased an upcoming Crocs Juniper on social media.

First look images showcase a light gum sole and teal/purple upper; the former shade accounts for the base, while the latter touches up the collar and midfoot TPU structure. All told, we’re getting a clear Nike ACG feel given the vibrant retro-inspired assortment of colors at play. Suspected to be the fourth Crocs Juniper colorway to release, this “Teal/Gum” arrangement arrives off the heels of the “Tahini,” “Realtree Camo,” and inaugural orange and green pair from May. It remains to be seen whether or not the model can rival the mainstream popularity of the Pollex Clog, the brand’s foremost streetwear silhouette, but it’s already won over devout followers of all things Salehe x Crocs.
