An in-hand look emerges as the NBA season draws closer.

Nike LeBron 22 Revealed With New Shoebox And Packaging

Media day brought a bevy of signature shoe intrigue, but curiously, not for LeBron James. Instead, he opted to sport his LeBron 3 and Bronny James reached for the NXXT Gen AMPD, leaving us without official word on the Nike LeBron 22 as its presumed release nears closer. However, on the unofficial front, we’re getting arguably our best look at the silhouette yet.

Consistent with first looks, the standout feature of The King’s latest silhouette remains the oversized Swoosh that cuts through a shrouded upper. There’s a natural evolution also visible from the XXI, as that cut-out appearance dovetails into a split between reflective synthetics and sturdier perforated leather in the upper half. Additionally, the weaving rope fibers that often graced 21 here outline the check, culminating in cursive-like bunches towards the heel.

For the true hoopers in our audience, the packaging may reveal the biggest piece of info. A kaleidoscope pattern brochure spells out in detail the performance aspects infused into the LeBron 22, including Cushlon 2.0 tech in the midsole, new engineered traction on the outsole and top-loaded Zoom Turbo. Finally, that psychedelic print continues on the packaging, a fresh design that bears subtle embossed geometry and James’ gem logo printed in the center.

While sample/PE collector @carterwangchina notes this as a release for Chinese National Day, expect the Nike LeBron 22 “Moonlight” to launch on November 1st. Check out a full suite of detailed in-hand images just ahead, and keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates hub for further updates.
