Stash and Nike are in cahoots again, and the next step in their master plan is to bring back two of his most coveted collaborations of all-time – the Air Max 95 and Air Force 1 Low. However, instead of sticking to a true re-issue, the duo is applying some significant updates to the models that’ll be sure to have a polarizing response.
As you already saw with the Stash Air Force 1 Low Retro, he and Nike has fitted the uppers with newer materials that and details such as a nylon base layer, a taped foxing around the toe-box, the iconic Stash graffiti logos on the tongue, and more. The Stash Air Max 95 arrives with a similar swappings as the nylon material in the 2006 original is also re-fit with the updated nylon, possibly serving the protective, water-repellent intent even better.
The eyelets now have openings instead of being tucked under the light blue later, while the slightly darker shade of blue is also a taped layer vs. the classic suede panel. The color of the gradient has been updated to reflect a darker navy with a graduation of colors, opposed to the all-grey toe and panels seen in the ’06 OG.
Currently, a release is expected this Holiday 2024 season for $200; stay tuned for updates as we learn more about this monumental comeback.
