Jordan Brand Adds A Gum Sole To The Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC”

The iconic colorway gets an earthy refresh.

Jordan Brand Adds A Gum Sole To The Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC”

While any retail store will have the shelves filled to the brim with Air Jordans that reference MJ’s Bulls days, those winning ways are arguably the only theme that surpasses his Airness’ college career. Especially with the Air Jordan 1 “UNC Reimagined” landing in 2025, Chapel Hill is set to re-enter the sneakerhead consciousness in a big way in the coming months. To that end, Jordan Brand is injecting classic “UNC” design with a bit of skate sensibility for Holiday ’24.

There’s not a ton of bells and whistles on display with this Jordan 1 Low, printing the everlasting light blue & white combination up top with matte earth tones underfoot. A “Barcelona” do-up from 2021 serves as a true precursor for this release, though the shoe in question here ditches the overseas patterns and simplifies the materials for easier everyday wear. Taken alongside the recently revealed Jordan 1 Low “Bred,” it’s clear that the Jumpman is re-doubling their OG-adjacent efforts for this F/W season, but the minute touches for this pair specifically present an easy way to set yourself apart from the crowd.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC/Gum” on shelves as we wrap up 2024. Women’s sizing is confirmed with your typical $115 MSRP expected.
