SNKRS SHOCK DROP: Nike “What The” Dunk Low co.jp

The 2017 style crashes back in.

SNKRS SHOCK DROP: Nike “What The” Dunk Low co.jp

Updated October 18th, 2024: A SNKRS Shock Drop release is expected at 1:30PM ET (tentative) HERE.

The original CO.JP series was one of the true inciting incidents in building the collector’s culture we’re all so familiar with now. Multiple re-releases from that initiative dotted the shelves in 2020 before making quick turnaround returns this year, but a colorway introduced when CO.JP was revived in 2017 is now set to hit the shelves. The Nike “What The” Dunk Low arrives anew on October 19th.

The 2007 “What The Dunk” is obviously the face of the mismatched concept (and largely the driver behind the motif gracing tons of Swoosh releases through the 2010s), but this CO.JP hits on the very start of the Dunk’s influence, combining the collegiate “Be True To Your School” colorways for an eccentric, vibrant edition. There’s obviously a ton of history at play as a result and the 2017 release still commands double its MSRP on the grey market.

However, other CO.JP Dunks that have landed this year like the Dunk Low “Veneer” and Dunk Low “Plum” are still largely available close to if not below retail. Regardless of how they’ve performed economically, those Japan re-releases reprised the look of the shoes 1-to-1, exactly what you can expect for the “What the Dunk.” The clashing swatches of previous defining colorways remains, with the CO.JP stamp intact on the insoles to boot.

Speculation aside, the Nike Dunk Low “What The” releases on October 19th. Get a refresher on the pair’s layout via the images featured throughout and keep our “Where To Buy” section close by if you’re looking to secure this re-release.
