The Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture Gets The “Black Cat” Treatment

“Triple Black” is a well that Nike has tapped into on plenty of occasions, but as models like the Air Jordan 4, Jordan 1 Low and even Air Max 1 experience “Black Cat” windfalls, its incidence rate has surely risen. While the Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture certainly doesn’t carry the lofty history that the aforementioned silos do, there’s nothing stopping it from gracefully embracing that stealthy theme, exactly the case with pair featured here.

You likely know what to expect from just the shoe’s name, and a comprehensive black paint job takes over the mixed media of the Flyknit Venture, briefly interrupted with rope laces and scattered branding that showcase “Metallic Silver.” While a boot-like style that relies on a Flyknit upper is already an eccentric prompt, the simplistic colorway shifts focus to the rest of the finer, off-kilter touches, including the the double elastic pull-tabs and the quilted, plush collar. Particularly attention-grabbing on this pair is the texture of the foxing and the chunky sole, matched up with stippled and hexagonal patterns that further enhance the outdoorsy lean the Flyknit Venture continues to communicate.

The Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture “Black Cat” is up now via NDC, available in women’s sizing for $180. Hit the respective links under “Where To Buy” to grab yours or simply enjoy the full suite of official images included ahead.
