Matt Varga Nike’s emphasis behind their all-new Air Max Dn in 2024 has naturally led to us at Sneaker News tracking its aesthetic evolution with special attention all year long. After a blast of nearly a dozen introductory look, pairs that have landed in recent months like the Air Max Dn “Laser Orange” or Air Max Dn “Canyon Rust” instead showcased more unexpected outfits, a reassuring sign for the staying power of the model.
Yet it doesn’t take hardware changes or gradients to chart new territory. An all-around treatment of pink ushers one of the first colorways of its kind, only preceded by an “Olive” edition in August. It isn’t fully one-note in achieving that, however. Complementary shades of “Elemental Pink” and “Desert Berry” do much of the heavy lifting, providing a rosy atmosphere through the graphic mudguard, woven upper and sole unit. The sole interruption (no pun intended) comes with the Air Chambers, clad in reflective “Red Stardust” that shifts to pearl depending on your angle.
