The Latest “Pink Dunks” Get An Eco-Friendly Overhaul

Updated December 24th, 2024: The Dunk Low Next Nature “Elemental Pink” is available now on Nike.com for $115; see the Where To Buy section below for direct links to purchase.

While hardcore sneakerheads may focus on new, techy models or archival bring-backs, broader consumers are often easier to please. See the reaction to Panda Dunks over the past few years; though specific sectors of hobbyists are still up-in-arms about the black & white staples, the shoes remain a frequent sight on feet for a reason. The model’s everlasting appeal has led “Pink Dunks” to be a hot commodity throughout the decade, and Nike’s latest delivery of those carries a new wrinkle.

This “Elemental Pink” colorway sees the rosy Dunk Low ushered into the “Next Nature” program. For the uninitiated, each Swoosh product bearing that subhead sports at least 20% recycled material in its composition. As with past inductees, there’s visual confirmation of the “green” hardware, as the tiny greyscale flecks in the outsole reflect a grind sole, a melange of reused materials from previous kicks.

Outside of that, this pair holds onto simplistic “Be True To Your School” style color-blocking, blending pink and white that should satisfy anyone looking to add some new pastel product into their rotation. If you’re in that group, look for the Nike Dunk Low “Elemental Pink” on store shelves and Nike.com in the new year, retailing at $115.
