Special Shoebox Revealed

While we await the wide release of the highly-anticipated Wu-Tang Dunk High, the clan just revealed a limited edition shoebox designed to commemorate the monumental launch.

Hexagonal in shape, this custom box features Wu-Tang Clans iconic yellow and black colors, mimicking a honeycombed hive that references the many monikers associated with the NY-based rap collective. Inside this limited edition packaging is a pair of the Dunk High, a candle with the scent of “Staten Island Honey”, and a t-shirt bearing a Wu-Tang and Nike co-branded logo across the chest.

The final slide of this presentation features none other than RZA signing the shoe-box, so it’s possible that Wu-Tang and Nike could be conducting some sort of giveaway for this once-in-a-lifetime set.

Full details will be shared shortly, so stay tuned for updates. Meanwhile, the shoes alone are expected to launch on November 9th, 2024 on SNKRS and select retailers for $150.

RZA And The New York Knicks

On October 25th, 2024, Nike finally unleashed their official ad campaign for the return of the Wu-Tang Nike Dunk High with RZA and three members of the New York Knicks. The Wu-Tang figurehead was joined by Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges for a gritty photoshoot.

Nike also produced a fun video with the three teammates and a Wu-Tang ice cream truck featuring Stevie Guttman. Later that evening, Nike parked the ice cream truck in front of Madison Square Garden to give out out free ice cream and t-shirts to fans. I filmed the video below.
