“Made in Flimby” is perhaps the most captivating phrase New Balance has in its marketing arsenal. The program of producing their footwear directly in the UK has become synonymous with heightened material touches in recent years. However, further in the archives, it connects to a longer history of New Balance offerings that’s woven into the brand’s overseas cult following.

Combining the two halves of “Made In England” is the New Balance 576 in “Mocha,” foregrounding the 1980s silhouette again with the aforementioned luxe materials.
