The Air Jordan 3 “Pure Money” Releases On August 2nd, 2025

Updated November 19th, 2024: The Air Jordan 3 “Pure Money” has been confirmed for an August 2nd, 2025 release date by noted insider @zsneakerheadz.

Original article published October 22nd, 2024: After we spent the summer months offering up new updates to the 2025 Jordan Releases calendar, we’ve gotten a bit of a reprieve in the past few weeks. That breather has come to an end — following the first look at the next Union Jordan 1 on tap for next year, we’re getting a major Air Jordan 3 update as the “Pure Money” is set to return in Fall ’25.

Hitting the shelves again after an 18-year layoff, the pair initially landed during Jordan Brand’s lifestyle era. In this stretch, the Jumpman went far beyond the bounds of typical on-court wear, stretching its wings into more expressive territory. Though the all-white “Pure Money” composition may not align with that at first glance, elephant print on the laces and silver accents through the tongue and heel carry the luxe design language so prevalent in that period.

Worth mentioning in any discussion of this pair is 2010’s “Silver Anniversary,” reprising the resplendent look note-for-note but instead nodding to Jordan Brand’s 25th birthday. With 2025 marking the imprint’s similarly groundbreaking 40th, the reissue is well placed. Though a similar prompt was answered with 2018’s Jordan 3 “Pure White,” this 2025 bring-back marks the shoe’s first true retro. It additionally provides a foil to the upcoming Jordan 3 “Black Cat,” fortuitously landing as consumers have started to pay attention to all-black looks throughout the Nike, Inc. catalog.

As of writing, a Fall 2025 release window is reported. We also know that the Air Jordan 3 “Pure Money” will come in full family sizing. Stay tuned to our coverage and Jordan Release Dates hub for first look images. Finally, re-familiarize yourself with this colorway via shots of the 2007 drop included ahead.
