This Champs-Exclusive New Balance 9060 Takes On Sky Blue

New Balance has carved out a notable relationship with its retail partners. On top of releasing stock of their typical season fair, we’ve seen offerings like the DTLR New Balance 1906R add a middle ground option between true GRs and limited collabs. Champs Sports is next up, revealing images of their exclusive “Sea Salt” pair hitting shelves in November.

The hi-vis detailing on this pair is the tone setter, dotting a “Sea Salt” understructure with pastel notes of light green on the laces and sky blue running through the midsole. The all-encompassing sprightly energy makes us wonder if this was initially queued up as a summer or spring drop, but if there’s any model that can handle the off-season look, it’s the New Balance 9060. This sort of ultra-light is truly its home base, and its hardy sole unit means pulling this mesh runner out of the closet for Fall/Winter is a more reasonable idea than with possibly any other silo on the market.

This New Balance 9060 drops on November 7th, only at Champs (online and in-store), retailing for $150.
